2026 FSFA letter from President Clayton Kimball (Capt. K).

I want to extend my sincere thanks to each of you. Your time and support at the club meetings, also behind the scenes is what keeps this club going and enjoyable for everyone.

Hello FSFA Club Members,

 For those that don’t know me, my name is Clayton Kimball better known as Capt. K or Butch and I was Introduced to the club by Captain John Durkee. I joined the club in 2016, I met a great group of people, and I think one of the most important things about the FSFA Club is all about fishing, family, friends, and fun. I have a 100-ton master’s Captain license, and I have been fishing all my life mostly from New Jersey, where I belonged to the Jersey Coast Shark Anglers for 30 years. I have also been Tuna fishing from Outer Banks, NC for 29 years. I have been involved in our club’s FSFA Slam Offshore Tournament every year. I was the weighmaster 2018- 2025 Chairperson 2019 and due to COVID-19, the tournament was cancelled, which was a deficit to our club financially. I am always volunteering for my services whenever and wherever possible for our club and its members. I have also been involved in the Harbor Town Marina flea market and the Kids Fishing Clinic at Port Canaveral. I have been selling raffle tickets at all the major Club events.

One of the great things about the FSFA is supporting our community here in Brevard County and promoting responsible fishing also providing valuable service / educating to our children in our community.

One thing we desperately need is to get more people involved and Volunteering, thus promoting our FSFA Club!

This year we need help with the Kids Fishing Clinic sponsors.

Also, we need lots of help with our Slam Offshore Fishing Tournament, we are looking for new sponsor as we are losing some from the port, due to the port expansion project for new Cruise ships.
