The FSFA Grand Master rating is reached when an angler member reaches or exceeds 1000 master points in the Angler Rating system. Since there is a maximum of only 20 points per specie per tackle category, it is a very significant achievement to reach 1000 points reflecting considerable skill catching a wide range of citation weight freshwater and/or saltwater species with a diversity of tackle categories. Achieving the Grand Master rating also grants the angler a lifetime membership in the FSFA. Many of our current active members are fishing diligently to accumulate their master points in hopes of soon being added to this exclusive list.
The following lists FSFA members who have reached or exceeded the 1000 master point rating (Grand Master). You may recognize a number of these members who have gone on to make names for themselves in the angling world. The list names those whose master point total is 1000 or more as reflected in the FSFA points database file. Updated 06/18.
